In the 10th minute Stefan Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Arman Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Helström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Nyman made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Eric Odeen sent off a good shot on target. Melker Nyman was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Michael Kiempe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Kiempe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kevin Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Nyman having to interfere. Melker Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Njurunda's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Gernberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Helström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harald Helström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gustav Bergman. Stefan Andberg scored 4-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 98th minute, Michael Kiempe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kby IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kby IF had played much better football throughout.
