Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thor Offendahl started the match with the kick off. David Törnblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Prato, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Dundee United's Knut Helander got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Thor Offendahl could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Ture Nordgren however easily saved by the left post. 15 minutes in the game Claes Hedberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edmund Vennerlund. Edward Tomasson made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Knut Helander. Knut Helander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ture Nordgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Knut Helander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Bülent Irmak kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Västerhaninge's Ture Nordgren got control of the ball when Knut Helander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Knut Helander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes in the game Claes Hedberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edmund Vennerlund. Bülent Irmak got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edward Tomasson. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ture Nordgren didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dundee United's Thor Offendahl shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The throw-in from Bülent Irmak in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Västerhaninge's Sven-Olof Rudberg. After 58 minutes, Edmund Vennerlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dundee United and the Västerhaninge players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dundee United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Edmund Vennerlund hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Thor Offendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ture Nordgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ture Nordgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Offendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thor Offendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ture Nordgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Bülent Irmak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Nordgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes, Dundee United's Frank Åberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ture Nordgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dundee United reached it. 83 minutes into the match, Dundee United's Knut Helander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ture Nordgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ture Nordgren came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Dundee United's Thor Offendahl. But to his dismay, Thor Offendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 98th match minute, Västerhaninge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dundee United had won after a very even match.
