In the 57th match minute, Fittstek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Bruse to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Dan Ek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Michael Henriksson skillfully saved the ball. Mats Bruse's late challenge caught a Strömsbruk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats Bruse helped the player get up and apologised. Mats Bruse hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jan-Olof Billberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Billberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Fittstek FC's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömsbruk's goalkeeper Hugo Tidén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Henrik Palm sped through Fittstek FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Michael Henriksson. Karl-Michael Henriksson came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsbruk's Jan-Olof Billberg. But to his dismay, Jan-Olof Billberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, Strömsbruk's Hugo Tidén got control of the ball when Karl-Magnus Bergström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strömsbruk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gösta Kilstedt was slow to take the kick. During this time Fittstek FC's players had a chance to rest. Karl-Michael Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Björk in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd play minute Karl-Magnus Bergström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hugo Tidén. 3-1. Karl-Magnus Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Tidén having to interfere. Hugo Tidén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Bergström went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Strömsbruk's Jan-Olof Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Magnus Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Tidén having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Jan-Olof Billberg made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Michael Henriksson. Fittstek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Strömsbruk had won after a very even match.
