Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Lindkvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Sledgehammer FC's Stig-Arne Forssell in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Farsta's goalie prevented a goal. The Sledgehammer FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Sledgehammer FC's Pontus Pihlblad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Arne Forssell in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frans Sjöström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frans Sjöström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sledgehammer FC's goalkeeper Leif Bergfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Arne Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Sjöström having to interfere. Tobias Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Forssell in the 19th minute of play forced Farsta's goalkeeper Frans Sjöström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Joacim Giliusson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farsta and the Sledgehammer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sledgehammer FC booed when Farsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Stig-Arne Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sledgehammer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Forssell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Sjöström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Sledgehammer FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Sledgehammer FC's Pontus Pihlblad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th match minute, Sledgehammer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Lundin to maneuver through the defense. Sledgehammer FC's Leif Bergfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Sledgehammer FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Pihlblad in the 31st minute of play forced Farsta's goalkeeper Frans Sjöström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farsta's Frans Sjöström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Forssell in the 37th minute of play. The wind increased when Stig-Arne Forssell made the kick off in the second half. If Stig-Arne Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klas Igelström's late challenge caught a Sledgehammer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klas Igelström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sledgehammer FC booed when Farsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Igelström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Farsta's zone, Jarl Nyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frans Sjöström came out of the goal and Jarl Nyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Arne Forssell in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Sjöström saved Farsta from getting behind. Stig-Arne Forssell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Arne Forssell in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Sjöström saved Farsta from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Farsta got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Giliusson. Sledgehammer FC's Leif Bergfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Lindkvist in the 80th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Farsta got a freekick which was hit by Peter Örtlund. Tobias Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Frans Sjöström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Jonas Lindkvist notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sledgehammer FC's Leif Bergfeldt. Leif Bergfeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Stig-Arne Forssell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frans Sjöström was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Farsta's Peter Örtlund got a free kick in the 95th minute. Frans Sjöström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pontus Pihlblad's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The Farsta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sledgehammer FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
