Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carl Dahlberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christer Apelqvist. Uusikaupunki Apinat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, one of Trelleborgs FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Sjöman in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 played minutes Uusikaupunki Apinat got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Olsson. In the 12th minute of the match Catarino Vaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Apelqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Stig-Åke Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Enegren hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Alfred Östensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Catarino Vaz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Apelqvist saved Uusikaupunki Apinat from getting behind. Lauro Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calle Gustafsson in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Trelleborgs FF's Tord Linqvist got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jens-Åke Alrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Apelqvist having to interfere. If Calle Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Trelleborgs FF's Lauro Peixoto got control of the ball when Calle Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Jens-Åke Alrot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trelleborgs FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jens-Åke Alrot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Apelqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Lauro Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Sjöman's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Trelleborgs FF's goalkeeper Lauro Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calle Gustafsson. 44 minutes into the game, Eric Sjöman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro Peixoto. Eric Sjöman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Catarino Vaz made a kick off. Catarino Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Christer Apelqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Apelqvist having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jens-Åke Alrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trelleborgs FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Åke Alrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Apelqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Trelleborgs FF got a freekick which was hit by Conny Hök. 64 minutes into the match, Alfred Östensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Apelqvist. Uusikaupunki Apinat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Östensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 67 played minutes Uusikaupunki Apinat got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Linqvist. Uusikaupunki Apinat's Christer Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Alrot in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Catarino Vaz got free with Christer Apelqvist in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Åke Alrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Apelqvist having to interfere. Sune Petersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Christer Apelqvist made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Uusikaupunki Apinat's zone, Alfred Östensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Apelqvist came out of the goal and Alfred Östensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Apelqvist came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Trelleborgs FF's Catarino Vaz. But to his dismay, Catarino Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Vincent Enegren hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Trelleborgs FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uusikaupunki Apinat.
