An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Jönsson in the 7th minute of play forced Rampekärr IK's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Stenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Ahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Mickelsson in the 10th minute of play. Klas Säf received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boris Ahlström came out and tried to block the shot, but Klas Säf slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 11th minute. Kjell-Arne Stenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Isaksson's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Jim Mickelsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Malungsfors's Boris Ahlström. Boris Ahlström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Válter Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jonathan Kilstedt in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boris Ahlström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Malungsfors's Einar Jönsson pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 38 minutes into the game, Jim Mickelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rampekärr IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malungsfors the free kick. Daniel Gallberg got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Anthon Igelström. In the 47th minute Arne Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Stenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Kilstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Sture Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Ahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. But to his dismay, Jim Mickelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Jim Mickelsson succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Jonathan Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell-Arne Stenberg made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Arne Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. Boris Ahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Mickelsson in the 81st minute of the match. During the 83rd minute of the match Jim Mickelsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jim Mickelsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jim Mickelsson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Malungsfors's Válter Bittencourt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. In the 91st minute, Bengt-Rune Gernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Malungsfors defense, Ola Smed kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Ahlström. The Malungsfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Ahlström should have stopped the shot. Malungsfors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
