The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Frisck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Qvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Frisck in the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Herbert Frisck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Dahlquist having to interfere. Stefan Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Harman in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Bromölla's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Harman came free, but Stefan Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Dahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Pettersson in the 33rd minute. Stefan Qvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Frisck, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Herbert Frisck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Qvarnström having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rickard Strömberg made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bromölla getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Inge Jansson hit a great ball. Ulf Alebom hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Herbert Frisck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Strömberg in the 74th minute of play forced Gusselby's goalkeeper Gustaf Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Qvarnström having to interfere. Herbert Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Qvarnström having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Herbert Frisck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Qvarnström. Herbert Frisck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. When Gusselby's Jonas Harman in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bromölla's goalie prevented a goal. Gusselby played a much better game than Bromölla and deserved their victory. The Bromölla players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
