Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Sharizan Chee got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 10 minutes into the match, Sharizan Chee dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Gross in the 13th minute. Mujahid Vijiaratnam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dale Kool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Hian in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss. Albirex Niigata FC's Farhan Lee quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Gross, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mujahid Vijiaratnam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Mujahid Vijiaratnam slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dale Kool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sharizan Chee, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Mujahid Vijiaratnam notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sharizan Chee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dale Kool made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sharizan Chee went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Hian to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sharizan Chee in the 74th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mujahid Vijiaratnam, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Mohammad Lee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Mohammad Lee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sharizan Chee scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharizan Chee in the 87th minute of the match. Joel Hian charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Hian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Germany booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Gross in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. Per Gross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Albirex Niigata FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
