In the 4th match minute, Nol IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Lind to maneuver through the defense. Ove Lingren hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Väderstad BK's Prince Angel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Sjöman in the 9th minute of play. Sven-Arne Lundhberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prince Angel having to interfere. Prince Angel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Sjöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Väderstad BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Lundhberg came free, but Prince Angel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Andres Aranzabe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Prince Angel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Andres Aranzabe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nol IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Hellström to make the kick off. Prince Angel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Lundhberg in the 51st minute of the match. Jonathan Almstedt's late challenge caught a Väderstad BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Almstedt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Nol IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Almstedt to maneuver through the defense. Per-Arne Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nol IF's Andres Aranzabe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prince Angel. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. If Kennet Sjöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Billberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Prince Angel could save by the left post. Kennet Sjöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes, Kennet Sjöman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nol IF and the Väderstad BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nol IF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kennet Sjöman hit a great ball. Kennet Sjöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Prince Angel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Sven-Arne Lundhberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Prince Angel. The goal made the score 0-6. Prince Angel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kennet Sjöman in the 92nd minute. Sven-Arne Lundhberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prince Angel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Arne Lundhberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Roy Wenerdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
