In the 6thth minute of the game Hans Nyberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC South Park's Stellan Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Åke Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Skark having to interfere. Rudolf Skark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Hans Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Wolfgang Rosenslør hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johanneshov BK's Rudolf Skark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Lindqvist in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Johanneshov BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonny Strömberg was slow to take the kick. During this time FC South Park's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Jörgen Ekrot heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Stig-Åke Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Stig-Åke Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stellan Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 39 played minutes FC South Park got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Trulsson. After a defensive mix-up in FC South Park's zone, Agne Apelkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Lundgren came out of the goal and Agne Apelkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Nils-Åke Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Stellan Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hans Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johanneshov BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes FC South Park got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Wallgren. A collision led to FC South Park getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Stig-Åke Lindqvist hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, Johanneshov BK's Karl-Johan Brandt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Lundgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Johanneshov BK's Hans Nyberg in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC South Park's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of FC South Park booed when Johanneshov BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Åke Lindqvist took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Skark. Rudolf Skark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 72 played minutes FC South Park got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Stenqvist. Johanneshov BK's Rudolf Skark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Johanneshov BK from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Johanneshov BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Albäck to maneuver through the defense. If Nils-Åke Kjellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johanneshov BK's Rudolf Skark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Johanneshov BK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Lindqvist got free with Rudolf Skark in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Wolfgang Rosenslør managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC South Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolfgang Rosenslør was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Skark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
