Izydor Raschke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Apelkvist in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Håkansson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Finman saved Hörnefors from getting behind. The supporters of Hörnefors booed when FC Vristen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Åhman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Stefan Göransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hörnefors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vristen the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Stefan Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hörnefors getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dino Nero hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Stig Pihlberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Finman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Stig Pihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vristen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Pihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Finman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Henry Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vristen's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Rosen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Finman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Izydor Raschke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 45th minute, Stig-Åke Håkansson made a precise shot to the right of Kristian Finman. Hörnefors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig-Åke Håkansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Finman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Hörnefors booed when FC Vristen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Stig-Åke Håkansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Vristen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
