The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Svartengren got free with Anthon Lindgren in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Team Svinto's goalkeeper Anthon Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rune Svartengren. Anthon Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Haström's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Rune Svartengren in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anthon Lindgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 20 minutes into the game, Rune Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anthon Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Team Svinto's Bengt-Rune Gulliksson got a free kick in the 24th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Svartengren couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rune Svartengren made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Team Svinto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gert Almqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Snusprillan united's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rune Svartengren sped through Team Svinto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anthon Lindgren. After 61 minutes of play, Snusprillan united's Henry Haström made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthon Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Snusprillan united's Henry Haström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthon Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Henry Haström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snusprillan united's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Haström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthon Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Odén took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gabriel Jaago. Snusprillan united's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rune Svartengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anthon Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Haström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Haström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthon Lindgren having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Svartengren in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthon Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kuisma Kiprusoff came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Snusprillan united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuisma Kiprusoff couldn't finish the play. Team Svinto's Anthon Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Svartengren in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Team Svinto got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Bollström. Anthon Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Hjortberg made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Snusprillan united's Börje Dahlman. Anthon Lindgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Haström went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Anthon Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Snusprillan united fully deserved thier win.
