If Rune Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Kjell Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Åke Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Bergström in the 47th minute of the match. Dag Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kasper Askberg made the kick off in the second half. Sven-Åke Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Hellbom in the 53rd minute of the match. Västerljung RK's Karl Erserman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Askberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Vilhelm Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Palm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Gefle Sweethearts's Sven-Åke Palm got control of the ball when Vilhelm Bergström tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kasper Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Törnqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Västerljung RK's Karl Erserman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Askberg in the 79th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Dag Hellbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gefle Sweethearts's Sven-Åke Palm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vilhelm Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Daniel Törnqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilhelm Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Västerljung RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
