Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malte Petersson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Malte Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Dan Olofsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hägglunds IoFK and the Kullavik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Morgan Holmberg hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ivar Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Björkkvist's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Bergqvist during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hägglunds IoFK booed when Kullavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Michel Björkkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kullavik's Ivar Lund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivar Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Björkkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Michel Björkkvist sped through Kullavik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivar Lund. Michel Björkkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ivar Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Björkkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Björkkvist in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Lund saved Kullavik from getting behind. Kullavik's Ivar Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Björkkvist in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Hägglunds IoFK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Björkkvist was the one to do the kick off. Tord Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Beckman in the 59th minute of play forced Kullavik's goalkeeper Ivar Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hägglunds IoFK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dan Olofsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kullavik's Morgan Holmberg got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute Börje Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Lund having to interfere. Kullavik's Ivar Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Björkkvist in the 79th minute of play. William Fredriksson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Kullavik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Nyström to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Isaac Vikström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kullavik's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Vikström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Per-Olof Grönlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Björkkvist in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Lund saved Kullavik from getting behind.
