The crowd rose to their feet as Täfteå's Rickard Gunnarsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-Ove Brandin. That made the score 3-0 after 31 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the game, Täfteå's Mathias Jepsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Ove Brandin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sven-Ove Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Rickard Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Jepsen got free with Sven-Ove Brandin in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Täfteå's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Axelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Jepsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Jan Julin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Söderala FF's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Jepsen came free, but Sven-Ove Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Mathias Jepsen sped through Söderala FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Brandin. After 77 played minutes Täfteå got a freekick which was hit by George Springfält. After some careless play in the Söderala FF defense, Robert Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Brandin. The Söderala FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Ove Brandin should have stopped the shot.
