The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Candido Locaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustav Wallin was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Damian Walczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Ekerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Belarmino Morado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Gustav Wallin made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Belarmino Morado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustav Wallin, 1-0. In the 9th minute Belarmino Morado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Walczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Strömberg in the 12th minute of play forced Hornstull FC's goalkeeper Damian Walczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Karl-Johan Ekerot hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Wallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candido Locaio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jörgen Wiman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Gustav Wallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute, Carlisle United F.C's Hubert Blanck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Candido Locaio scored 6-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustav Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rutger Vibjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Öfverman kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Hornstull FC made a substitution. Jerry Bruse replaced Rutger Vibjörnsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Locaio in the 73rd minute of play forced Carlisle United F.C's goalkeeper Gustav Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belarmino Morado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Candido Locaio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hornstull FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Locaio couldn't finish the play. Belarmino Morado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gustav Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Hornstull FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
