Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peder Henriksson started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Slisk United booed when Värnamo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Tarkan Sağlamtürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Värnamo BK's David Pålsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Pålsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Fagrell in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarkan Sağlamtürk in the 14th minute of play forced Värnamo BK's goalkeeper David Pålsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Pålsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarkan Sağlamtürk in the 15th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Värnamo BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Kilstedt to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Kilstedt struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Wilhelm Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Värnamo BK. Wilhelm Kilstedt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Wilhelm Björk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Fagrell in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Pålsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Fagrell in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Pålsson saved Värnamo BK from getting behind. Värnamo BK's David Pålsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Fagrell in the 41st minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Tarkan Sağlamtürk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarkan Sağlamtürk was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Slisk United's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Henriksson came free, but Wilhelm Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Alex Fagrell notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Värnamo BK's David Pålsson. David Pålsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute of the match Thomas Bengtsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilhelm Björk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tarkan Sağlamtürk made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 72ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but David Pålsson would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. David Pålsson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Tarkan Sağlamtürk sent off a good shot on target. Tarkan Sağlamtürk succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 76th playminute. A collision led to Värnamo BK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wilhelm Kilstedt hit a great ball. Ulf Vallander's late challenge caught a Slisk United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Vallander helped the player get up and apologised. Ulf Vallander hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The Slisk United fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Slisk United's Tarkan Sağlamtürk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Slisk United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Värnamo BK.
