Dag Harman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Albom's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Folke Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Trillkott having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Marcus Nordgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dag Harman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Limhamns FF booed when Flens Ost was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Lidström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marcus Nordgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dag Harman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Nordgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Albom in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dag Harman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57thth minute of the game Stig Albom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limhamns FF's Dag Harman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kent Siggesson came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Flens Ost fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Siggesson couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Freddie Simonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Flens Ost's Bo Ånger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dag Harman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Limhamns FF's Dag Harman got control of the ball when Stig Albom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig Albom in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dag Harman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dag Harman made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Stig Albom sent off a good shot on target. Klas Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klas Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Limhamns FF's zone, Stig Albom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dag Harman came out of the goal and Stig Albom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
