FC KALSONG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limhamns FF the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kåre Åkerman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Vallmark in the 54th minute of play forced Limhamns FF's goalkeeper Dag Harman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, FC KALSONG's Malte Olenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dag Harman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gösta Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dag Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Limhamns FF's Freddie Simonsson got a free kick in the 60th minute. FC KALSONG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Vallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Limhamns FF defense, Malte Olenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dag Harman. The Limhamns FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dag Harman should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Ekblom in the 68th minute of play forced Limhamns FF's goalkeeper Dag Harman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Harman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Ekblom in the 70th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Walter Vallmark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0.
