Kilafors City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hanaskog the free kick. After 18 played minutes Kilafors City got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Myhr. In the 21st minute, Benjamin Fågel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Ove Danielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 24thth minute of the game Benjamin Fågel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hanaskog's Stig-Ove Danielsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Hanaskog getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pornchai Chaiyapoom hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ture Westerberg during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hanaskog booed when Kilafors City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Westerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Hanaskog's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Fågel came free, but Stig-Ove Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Karl-Axel Gunnarsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roland Ek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Ture Westerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Ove Danielsson. Hanaskog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ture Westerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The throw-in from Casper Bratt in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hanaskog's Patric Telin. The supporters of Hanaskog booed when Kilafors City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Myhr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Axel Gunnarsson made a kick off. Arseny Scherbakov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Kilafors City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Kilafors City booed when Hanaskog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Milovidov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Benjamin Fågel in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Stig-Ove Danielsson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Pornchai Chaiyapoom kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Kristoffer Duset kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kilafors City's zone, Patric Telin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Ek came out of the goal and Patric Telin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Axel Gunnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Hanaskog got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Lundström. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Danielsson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The supporters of Kilafors City booed when Hanaskog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pornchai Chaiyapoom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kilafors City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
