In the 18th minute, Samuel Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Gustavsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sten Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Gunnarsson having to interfere. In the 26th minute Sten Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Holmberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Bertil Gustavsson however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Skobagarna SK's goalkeeper Bertil Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Trancoso. Joel Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Bertil Gustavsson made a huge save.

The wind increased when Samuel Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. Skobagarna SK's Bertil Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Holmberg in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes Skobagarna SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vilhelm Hellström who took care of the corner kick. Vilhelm Hellström made a great header on West Bromwich Albions's corner, it was just that Skobagarna SK's Bertil Gustavsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57th minute, Samuel Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Gustavsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 74 minutes into the game, one of Skobagarna SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave West Bromwich Albions a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vilhelm Hellström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skobagarna SK's Bertil Gustavsson. 3-0. When Thomas Kvalfält fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skobagarna SK's protests and gave Thomas Kvalfält a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Thomas Kvalfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sten Lind came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Skobagarna SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Lind couldn't finish the play.
