The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Joseph Backman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hallaryd's Filiph Jansson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Karl-Johan Alefors kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Elliot Sjöberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Staffan Rosendal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvin Hammarbäck during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tidan booed when Hallaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Hammarbäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Derlanga in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Hallaryd's Gustaf Kielberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Skarkman in the 63rd minute of play. Richard Telin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Staffan Rosendal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Wallmark went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 71 in the game by Valdemar Wallmark from a close distance when the talented Staffan Rosendal managed to make a qualified save. Tidan's players were relieved. Gustaf Kielberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borys Derlanga went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gustaf Kielberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Derlanga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Richard Telin came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Hallaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Telin couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Stig-Arne Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tidan were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Hallaryd to leave the ground with a draw.
