Alf Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YB1891's Alf Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimar Busche in the 25th minute of play. If Raimar Busche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Alf Jonsson managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Ayajasco AFC's Raimar Busche fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Nyberg in the 35th minute of play forced YB1891's goalkeeper Alf Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, YB1891's goalkeeper Alf Jonsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimar Busche. Raimar Busche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Alf Jonsson made a huge save. Raimar Busche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alf Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the YB1891 defense, Thomas Nyberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alf Jonsson. The YB1891 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Jonsson should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Raimar Busche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anders Hägert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimar Busche took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Jonsson. Alf Jonsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
