The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Hybbert got free with Adrian Ekegren in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluca Reuteler hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Raimar Busche scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonsalve Campon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Landvetter IF's goal looked a bit too open when Raimar Busche came free, but Gonsalve Campon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torgny Wållander was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ayajasco AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Landvetter IF. Marko Bergman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adrian Ekegren. 1-3. Adrian Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Strömberg in the 35th minute of play. Marko Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Adrian Ekegren made a huge save. The supporters of Landvetter IF booed when Ayajasco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ayajasco AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
