Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Håkan Kråk took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vindeln IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tord Söderqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vrena IF's Niklas Fridlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Kråk in the 11th minute of play. Tord Söderqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vrena IF's zone, Håkan Kråk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Fridlund came out of the goal and Håkan Kråk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vindeln IF's Håkan Kråk in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vrena IF's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vindeln IF's Tord Söderqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niklas Fridlund. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Håkan Kråk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vindeln IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Kråk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vrena IF's Sivert Blomquist got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Håkan Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Fridlund having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Skark in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Fridlund saved Vrena IF from getting behind. Hans Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Tord Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 57th minute of play forced Vrena IF's goalkeeper Niklas Fridlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Pelle Bergman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vrena IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vindeln IF the free kick. A collision led to Vrena IF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The penalty shot was made by Ludvig Runberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vrena IF's Niklas Fridlund. 4-0. 98 minutes into the match, Vrena IF's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Kråk came free, but Niklas Fridlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vindeln IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
