Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5387, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leif Isaksson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leif Isaksson scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Verner Kellman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Verner Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Grönlund in the 12th minute of play. Leif Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Kellman having to interfere. Emil Grönlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Verner Kellman having to make a save. Karl-Ove Hallgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melker Ekeberg's late challenge caught a Bunkeflostrand BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melker Ekeberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bunkeflostrand BF booed when SPIRIT OF CHICAGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Ekeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Grönlund in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Verner Kellman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Leif Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, SPIRIT OF CHICAGO's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Grönlund came free, but Verner Kellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Grönlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Kellman having to interfere. Bunkeflostrand BF's Emil Grönlund got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leif Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Grönlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Verner Kellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verner Kellman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Grönlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Leif Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Kellman having to interfere. SPIRIT OF CHICAGO's Verner Kellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Isaksson in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Ove Hallgren made a kick off. After 54 played minutes SPIRIT OF CHICAGO got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Hallgren. Leif Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Verner Kellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bunkeflostrand BF's Leif Isaksson in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SPIRIT OF CHICAGO's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Leif Isaksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Verner Kellman. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. Emil Grönlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Emil Grönlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Isaksson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Verner Kellman saved SPIRIT OF CHICAGO from getting behind. If Emil Grönlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Emil Grönlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, SPIRIT OF CHICAGO's goalkeeper Verner Kellman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Grönlund. Leif Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Verner Kellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emil Grönlund came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bunkeflostrand BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Grönlund couldn't finish the play. Emil Grönlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Kellman having to interfere.
