Alexander Hedvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Vennerkvist having to interfere. Nils Vennerkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fc Jakob booed when Göteborgs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Johansson in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Göteborgs IF's goalkeeper Nils Vennerkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Monteiro. Nils Vennerkvist was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Jacinto Monteiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto Monteiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alexander Hedvall scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Vennerkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tudor Urderean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Ekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Göteborgs IF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lukas Waller hit a great ball. Orvar Deckberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fc Jakob booed when Göteborgs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Monteiro in the 40th minute of play forced Göteborgs IF's goalkeeper Nils Vennerkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Jacinto Monteiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils Vennerkvist, 3-0. After 47 played minutes Göteborgs IF got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Ekström. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Monteiro to make the kick off. Jacinto Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nils Vennerkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fc Jakob's Alexander Hedvall in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Göteborgs IF's goalie prevented a goal. When Orvar Deckberg fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Jakob's protests and gave Orvar Deckberg a yellow card for diving instead. Axel Lång received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tudor Urderean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Alexander Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Vennerkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Johansson in the 67th minute of play forced Göteborgs IF's goalkeeper Nils Vennerkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sven-Edvin Njurenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Jakob's Tudor Urderean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Jakob from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Jacinto Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Jakob fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 78th minute, Sven-Edvin Njurenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Sven-Edvin Njurenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göteborgs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Njurenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göteborgs IF's Nils Vennerkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Monteiro in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Wiberg in the 83rd minute of play forced Fc Jakob's goalkeeper Tudor Urderean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Vennerkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Hedvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Nils Vennerkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Hedvall's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Nils Vennerkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Hedvall in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Sven-Edvin Njurenius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc Jakob had played much better football throughout.
