In the 11th match minute, FC Hörby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Glad to maneuver through the defense. When Pettisarna's Per-Arne Bjursell in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Björn Hammarberg succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Christian Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Per-Arne Bjursell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Arenstedt having to make a save. After 43 played minutes FC Hörby got a freekick which was hit by Bror Wallgren. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Per-Arne Bjursell took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Brian Arenstedt to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Arne Bjursell made a kick off. When Patrick Glad fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hörby's protests and gave Patrick Glad a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Patrick Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Pettisarna's Marc Falck got control of the ball when Victor Hjordsvar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Arenstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Arne Bjursell's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Pettisarna's Per-Arne Bjursell got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pettisarna's Robert Höijer was substituted for Philip Billström. Per-Arne Bjursell hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Hammarberg in the 91st minute of play forced FC Hörby's goalkeeper Brian Arenstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
