Väring IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henric Vase breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in H's zone, Pascual Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henric Vase came out of the goal and Pascual Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henric Vase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Gomez in the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot 22 in the game by Pascual Gomez from a close distance when the talented Henric Vase managed to make a qualified save. H's players were relieved. David Högman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Haegg having to make a save. Olov Haegg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 68th minute when Malte Rosin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Pascual Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Oskar Kullander's late challenge caught a Väring IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
