One of Sävar IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Smulskorpia:s goal. Mårten Nordin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Alexander Arvidsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Torsten Ivarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Arvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Ivarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 played minutes Sävar IK got a freekick which was hit by Lars Bjurström. Torsten Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Alexander Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sävar IK. Anton Bergsten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Alexander Arvidsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Patrick Frykberg charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Frykberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Frykberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Villiam Jonasson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sävar IK's Bertil Julin didn't even have to move. The supporters of Smulskorpia booed when Sävar IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isak Benett made a kick off. Alexander Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Smulskorpia's Alexander Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Bergsten in the 71st minute of play. If Douglas Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Arvidsson having to interfere. Anton Bergsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anton Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävar IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Bergsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
