The audience was convinced that Olle Forss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Nilsson was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. John Mellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the GoodFellas defense, Bengt-Rune Siggman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Nilsson. The GoodFellas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Nilsson should have stopped the shot. Bengt-Rune Siggman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dennis Nilsson made a huge save. After 22 played minutes GoodFellas got a freekick which was hit by Holger Johansson. Dennis Nilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to GoodFellas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jens-Ove Malmström hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Ove Åberg during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GoodFellas booed when Rolfstorp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tord Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. GoodFellas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Hedberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Tim Jakobsson from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Dennis Nilsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bengt-Rune Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolfstorp FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Siggman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Nilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Ove Åberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. John Mellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bengt-Rune Siggman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tord Blomqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolfstorp FK's Olle Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olle Forss struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dennis Nilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolfstorp FK. When Jens-Ove Malmström fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoodFellas's protests and gave Jens-Ove Malmström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute of the match Hampus Benet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Nilsson skillfully saved the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Rolfstorp FK's Olle Forss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Nilsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Wallmark charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casper Wallmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rolfstorp FK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Casper Wallmark hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, GoodFellas's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Siggman came free, but Dennis Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GoodFellas's zone, Bengt-Rune Siggman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Nilsson came out of the goal and Bengt-Rune Siggman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Rolfstorp FK's Olle Forss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Nilsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind GoodFellas's goalkeeper Dennis Nilsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Bengt-Rune Siggman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolfstorp FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Siggman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Nilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolfstorp FK. In the 95th minute, Olle Forss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rolfstorp FK had won after a very even match.
