The shot was stopped by Ralf Holmgren but with some difficulty. 41 minutes into the match, Hörby's goalkeeper Ralf Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Flink. Ralf Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Kellman in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Glanselius in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Sandström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jesper Ekström was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hörby made a substitution.
