Vikarbyn's Filip Holmgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henric Alebeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filip Holmgren having to make a save. If Villiam Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Villiam Walroth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Henrik Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Filip Holmgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gamleby. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Fagrell in the 45th minute of play forced Gamleby's goalkeeper 孙辉榕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henrik Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Richard Bergvall was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 50th minute. Gamleby's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 53 minutes into the game, Vikarbyn's Gottfrid Hjortberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 孙辉榕 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 81st minute, Arne Hallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 孙辉榕 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Osvald Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Kent Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gamleby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
