A sloppy throw-in by Ulf Ahlstedt in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HornsBronX Jaguars's Tord Åman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Stenkvist in the 10th minute of play forced HornsBronX Jaguars's goalkeeper Algot Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Conny Stenkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Stenkvist in the 14th minute of play forced HornsBronX Jaguars's goalkeeper Algot Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SSC.Napoli's Egil Pååk got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Christer Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Pihlwall in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, SSC.Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Pihlwall came free, but Christer Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ivar Bäcklin sped through HornsBronX Jaguars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Algot Frisck. Ingemar Pihlwall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Christer Elg made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greger Lundblad got free with Christer Elg in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christer Elg made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Greger Lundblad sent off a good shot on target. Algot Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Pihlwall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Elg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Conny Stenkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Algot Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in SSC.Napoli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for HornsBronX Jaguars. Oliver Backman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christer Elg. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Pihlwall made a kick off. SSC.Napoli's Christer Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Pihlwall in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, SSC.Napoli's Conny Stenkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Algot Frisck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christer Elg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mårten Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Conny Stenkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSC.Napoli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conny Stenkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes HornsBronX Jaguars got a freekick which was hit by Malte Falkrantz. Christer Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Lundblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, SSC.Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Pihlwall came free, but Christer Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HornsBronX Jaguars's Algot Frisck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save HornsBronX Jaguars from getting a goal against them. Algot Frisck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Stenkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Ingemar Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Lundblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Elg having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the HornsBronX Jaguars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
