The referee ignored Tived's protests and gave Karl-Ove Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alby F.C booed when Tived was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Alby F.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bram Swart hit a great ball. Mugurel Feraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Lindman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

61 minutes into the match, Tived's goalkeeper Leif Hermansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bram Swart. 62 minutes into the game, Alby F.C's Alfredo Chayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Hermansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Mugurel Feraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo-Erik Ljungberg in the 69th minute of play. 4-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Eskil Lindman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Alby F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Ljungberg came free, but Mugurel Feraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo-Erik Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Feraru having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Bram Swart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Hermansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Tived's Leif Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Tived from getting a goal against them. Leif Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Chayo in the 89th minute of play. Leif Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Chayo in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Alby F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Fagerberg. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
