The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Kjellkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gottfrid Björklund charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gottfrid Björklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mariefred getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ivar Björkdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Svanberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariefred's Mats Svanberg got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georg Strömberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Björkdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariefred's John Ekerot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Björkdal. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. Kvikkjokk IK's Ivar Björkdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kvikkjokk IK from getting a goal against them. With his leg Ivar Björkdal managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Mariefred's John Ekerot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Mariefred's Mattias Hellgren got a free kick in the 45th minute. A collision led to Kvikkjokk IK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Georg Strömberg hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Lindberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mats Svanberg struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ivar Björkdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariefred. Henric Blom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Björkdal. Kvikkjokk IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Svanberg in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Björkdal saved Kvikkjokk IK from getting behind. In the 60th match minute, Mariefred was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Kvikkjokk IK's Allan Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivar Björkdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Ekerot in the 71st minute of play. Ivar Björkdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Svanberg in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Kvikkjokk IK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcus Haström hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Kenneth Walmarsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Björkdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Mats Svanberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kvikkjokk IK's Ivar Björkdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Henric Blom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Björkdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mats Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, John Ekerot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Björkdal. Kvikkjokk IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Ekerot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mariefred had played much better football throughout.
