The referee ignored FC Näckan's protests and gave Hampus Hagström a yellow card for diving instead. Nicklas Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Norsborg FF booed when FC Näckan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Hagström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Norsborg FF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Stig-Ove Cane hit a great ball. Börge Kolberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Erik Tillman's late challenge caught a FC Näckan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Erik Tillman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Norsborg FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Tillman to maneuver through the defense. Kent Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Håkan Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Alström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Håkan Blomqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Pontus Alström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. A collision led to FC Näckan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Johannes Bergqvist hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Fred Lundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norsborg FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Näckan the free kick. The supporters of FC Näckan booed when Norsborg FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Håkansson took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Blomqvist. Håkan Blomqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pontus Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Kent Håkansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Håkan Blomqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes into the match, FC Näckan's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Alrot came free, but Knut Lundblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knut Lundblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Tillman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Kent Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Norsborg FF defense, Kent Håkansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Håkan Blomqvist. The Norsborg FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Blomqvist should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Alrot to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Norsborg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Håkansson came free, but Håkan Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pontus Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Blomqvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Näckan's Hampus Hagström got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Kent Håkansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Håkan Blomqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håkan Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Per-Erik Tillman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Näckan's Knut Lundblad got control of the ball when Henrik Alrot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Alrot struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Knut Lundblad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norsborg FF. After 95 minutes of play, FC Näckan's Kent Håkansson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Blomqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there!
