Ture Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Palmquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Palmquist came free, but Ture Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Göteborg's Ture Brenner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Göteborg from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, IFK Göteborg's Ture Brenner got control of the ball when Jens-Ove Biörkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. IFK Göteborg's Ture Brenner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Palmquist in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Anton Hellgren hit a great ball. Ture Brenner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Palmquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nils Palmquist made the kick off in the second half. Ture Brenner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Biörkman in the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Nils Palmquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ture Brenner. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ture Brenner should have stopped the shot. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Hällefors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hällefors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Peder Söderlund scored to the left of an out of position Georg Joensson, making the score, 2-1. 79 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Biörkman came free, but Ture Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Biörkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Biörkman came free, but Ture Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tymur Kyrylenko kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Edvard Söderqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ture Brenner skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, IFK Göteborg's Georg Joensson threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peder Söderlund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Hällefors booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymur Kyrylenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ture Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Palmquist in the 94th minute of play. Mustafa Oğuz Özbilek's late challenge caught a Hällefors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Oğuz Özbilek helped the player get up and apologised. Ture Brenner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Palmquist in the 97th minute of the match. Tymur Kyrylenko hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. IFK Göteborg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
