Tim Sigfridsson started the match with the kick off. When Tim Sigfridsson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sävsjöström IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Sigfridsson couldn't finish the play. Alf Torsberg made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Tobias Käcker sent off a good shot on target. Tom Wickander kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Mariano Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jan Jukl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Påk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tim Sigfridsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävsjöström IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Sigfridsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Torsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, mammas pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Sigfridsson came free, but Alf Torsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sävsjöström IK's Tobias Käcker got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Lundgren hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Påk during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes mammas pojkar got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Påk. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Vieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sävsjöström IK's Jan Jukl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sävsjöström IK from getting a goal against them. In the 56th match minute, Sävsjöström IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Sigfridsson to maneuver through the defense. Oskar Magnusson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. Jan Jukl was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mariano Vieira. If Mariano Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alf Torsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Sigfridsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sävsjöström IK's Tim Sigfridsson got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alf Torsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Sigfridsson in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Markus Rosenberg made a precise shot to the right of Alf Torsberg. mammas pojkar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Tim Sigfridsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but mammas pojkar's Alf Torsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tim Sigfridsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tim Sigfridsson sped through mammas pojkar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alf Torsberg. After a defensive mix-up in mammas pojkar's zone, Tim Sigfridsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Torsberg came out of the goal and Tim Sigfridsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, mammas pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Sigfridsson came free, but Alf Torsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sävsjöström IK fully deserved thier win.
