This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Edgar Alrot as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind mammas pojkar's goalkeeper Alf Torsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alf Torsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Klintæus in the 24th minute of play. Mariano Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Vieira in the 32nd minute of play forced Malungsfors's goalkeeper Edgar Alrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malungsfors's zone, Mariano Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Alrot came out of the goal and Mariano Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Alrot acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicklas Mattsson. 43 minutes into the match, mammas pojkar's Mariano Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Alrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Klintæus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mark Tidéksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Alf Torsberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th match minute, mammas pojkar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Påk to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Stefan Berglund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Alrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tom Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Tidéksson struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alf Torsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malungsfors. mammas pojkar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
