Edgar Alrot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Knut Vall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tim Sigfridsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sävsjöström IK's Tobias Käcker got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tim Sigfridsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tim Sigfridsson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Edgar Alrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sävsjöström IK. The Sävsjöström IK fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Sävsjöström IK's Tim Sigfridsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andreas Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Jukl having to interfere. Sävsjöström IK's Tobias Käcker got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Sigfridsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-3 became the score in the 81st minute when Andreas Klintæus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Malungsfors's goalkeeper Edgar Alrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Sigfridsson. Tim Sigfridsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tobias Käcker came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sävsjöström IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Käcker couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Gerdberg in the 94th minute of play forced Sävsjöström IK's goalkeeper Jan Jukl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Sävsjöström IK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malungsfors throughout the match.
