Melker Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Ekberg in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Olov Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Röane FC's Melker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Ekberg in the 19th minute of play. Tobias Öfverman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Börge Klementsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of HAMMARBY FOTBOLL's Valter Wickander. Valter Wickander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind HAMMARBY FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Valter Wickander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Röane FC's Harald Eliasson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Melker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Ekberg in the 37th minute of play. Anders Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Ekberg made a kick off. Iliyan Kostadinov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leonard Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Röane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Bergman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Wickander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Ekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonard Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Röane FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Bergman couldn't finish the play. Melker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Ekberg in the 70th minute. Olov Ekberg scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Olsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Iliyan Kostadinov fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Röane FC's protests and gave Iliyan Kostadinov a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Röane FC got a freekick which was hit by Iliyan Kostadinov. Valter Wickander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
