The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Åman got free with Per-Åke Kuse in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 played minutes Ringarums IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Svartengren. When Mathias Sjöberg fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tobo IK's protests and gave Mathias Sjöberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ringarums IF booed when Tobo IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Åman in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Per-Åke Kuse, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Tobo IK defense, Konrad Åman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Åke Kuse. The Tobo IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Åke Kuse should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konrad Åman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Anselius in the 57th minute of play forced Tobo IK's goalkeeper Per-Åke Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Åke Kuse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Anselius's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Anselius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Åke Kuse was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Henrik Svartengren scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Åke Kuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Henrik Svartengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Svartengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
