Leo Carlsson made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Per-Erik Lennartsson however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Lennartsson in the 7th minute of play forced Sjuntorp BK's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Dag Tidéksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Springfält hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Nicklas Bålström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Hille IF's Nicklas Bålström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Grep was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Hille IF's Svante Njurenius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Erik Grep made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nils-Erik Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Erik Grep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fe Barquerin in the 23rd minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Fe Barquerin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Erik Grep. Sjuntorp BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fe Barquerin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When Hille IF's Per-Erik Lennartsson in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sjuntorp BK's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Sjuntorp BK's Joseph Henriksson got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Nicklas Bålström came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hille IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicklas Bålström couldn't finish the play. Per-Erik Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Grep having to interfere. The supporters of Hille IF booed when Sjuntorp BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Möller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Leo Carlsson made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dag Tidéksson however managed to control. Fe Barquerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fe Barquerin got free with Nils-Erik Grep in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sjuntorp BK's Nils-Erik Grep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sjuntorp BK from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, Sjuntorp BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Springfält to maneuver through the defense. In the 62ndth minute of the game Per-Erik Lennartsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjuntorp BK's Nils-Erik Grep was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fe Barquerin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Erik Grep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Lennartsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nils-Erik Grep. Per-Erik Lennartsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Paul Holmberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Springfält went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Nicklas Bålström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils-Erik Grep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Tidéksson in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fe Barquerin got free with Nils-Erik Grep in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute Per-Erik Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Sjuntorp BK's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Grep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Tidéksson. In the 90th minute Elof Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Karl-Åke Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Holmberg having to interfere. Per-Erik Lennartsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Grep made a huge save. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sjuntorp BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fe Barquerin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hille IF's players had a chance to rest. Hille IF's Fe Barquerin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nils-Erik Grep in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hille IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
