Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alf Björkman got the match started through his kick off. Jan-Ove Ek kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Överum IFK's Alf Björkman in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åby's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Björkman in the 10th minute of play forced Åby's goalkeeper Stellan Björck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jan-Ove Ek fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åby's protests and gave Jan-Ove Ek a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Åby got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Ek. With a little luck, Överum IFK's Jonas Snäll got control of the ball when Linus Mårtensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Filiph Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åby's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiph Odman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Snäll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Filiph Odman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonas Snäll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filiph Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linus Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Snäll having to interfere. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Åby. Jonas Mårtensson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonas Snäll. 2-0. If Filiph Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Linus Mårtensson made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Thidén during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Åby a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonas Mårtensson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Överum IFK's Jonas Snäll. 3-0. Jonas Snäll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Alf Björkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Björck having to interfere. Åby's Jan-Ove Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Överum IFK's zone, Filiph Odman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Snäll came out of the goal and Filiph Odman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 minutes, Sixten Svanér mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Överum IFK and the Åby players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Mårtensson in the 90th minute of play forced Överum IFK's goalkeeper Jonas Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Odman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiph Odman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Snäll having to interfere. In the 99th minute Filiph Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Snäll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
