The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Jönsson in the 3rd minute of play forced Tierp IF's goalkeeper Pelle Gulliksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Tierp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Alegren came free, but Pelle Gulliksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Maximilian Ekelund made a huge save. Leif Vennerström took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pelle Gulliksson. Pelle Gulliksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 19 minutes, Sebastian Lundqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tierp IF and the Alstermo FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Tierp IF got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Lundqvist. Pelle Gulliksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Vallgren in the 21st minute of the match. When Alstermo FF's Jörn Vallgren in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Pelle Gulliksson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Pelle Gulliksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Bjursell went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pelle Gulliksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Vallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Lundqvist was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Alstermo FF booed when Tierp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leif Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Erland Söderström notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Alstermo FF's Maximilian Ekelund. Maximilian Ekelund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Alstermo FF booed when Tierp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Sundling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Ekelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Moberg in the 62nd minute of play. Pelle Gulliksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Bjursell, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Pelle Gulliksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Vallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Helberg made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Henry Jönsson immediately put the ball in play. In the 71st minute, Tierp IF's Matthias Julin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matthias Julin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tierp IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matthias Julin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tierp IF! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Alstermo FF. Leif Vennerström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pelle Gulliksson. 1-4. After having played for 77 minutes, Erland Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tierp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Erland Söderström fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tierp IF's protests and gave Erland Söderström a yellow card for diving instead. Erland Söderström hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Tierp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Söderström to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Gulliksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Ahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Alstermo FF's Michael Lövskog ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pelle Gulliksson. Pelle Gulliksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 93rd minute, Alstermo FF's Leif Vennerström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pelle Gulliksson. Pelle Gulliksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Leif Vennerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Pelle Gulliksson made a huge save. 1-7 became the score in the 98th minute when Michael Lövskog elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Tierp IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alstermo FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
