With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lövet fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Nils Bengtsson, was totally fooled by Gunnarskog's Joakim Sjögren, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Nils Bengtsson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Olof Alebeck sent off a good shot on target. Lövet's Nils Bengtsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lövet from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Olof Alebeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarskog's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Alebeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Holmberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Gunnarskog's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Olof Alebeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnarskog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lövet the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Gunnarskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Alebeck to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Holmberg's late challenge caught a Gunnarskog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Christopher Dahlberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist, passed just outside the right post. Gunnarskog's Sven-Edvin Vennerkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Dahlberg in the 62nd minute of play. If Olof Alebeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christopher Dahlberg fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövet's protests and gave Christopher Dahlberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lövet getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Christopher Dahlberg hit a great ball. Olof Alebeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Olof Alebeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarskog's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Alebeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
