Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sigvard Löfkvist made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Wiktor Sjöström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Elof Bergman to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Blanck in the 6th minute of the match. If Wiktor Sjöström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Linghed's goalkeeper Elof Bergman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Sjöström. Daniel Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Blanck in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Blanck in the 29th minute of play forced Mariefred's goalkeeper Daniel Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elof Bergman was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Wiktor Sjöström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wiktor Sjöström really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Mariefred's Wiktor Sjöström got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Uno Bammerman made a precise shot to the right of Elof Bergman. Linghed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Linghed's Hans Blanck got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Sjöström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Broman in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elof Bergman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Linghed's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Jönsson came free, but Elof Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Linghed got a freekick which was hit by Alex Vassenius. Elof Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Sjöström, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Linghed defense, Wiktor Sjöström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elof Bergman. The Linghed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elof Bergman should have stopped the shot. Marcus Ek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elof Bergman. Linghed's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Arvin Jönsson notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Linghed's Elof Bergman. Elof Bergman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arvin Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Arvin Jönsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elof Bergman was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Arvin Jönsson scored 9-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elof Bergman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute of the match Marcus Ek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elof Bergman skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Bammerman in the 86th minute of play forced Linghed's goalkeeper Elof Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elof Bergman came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mariefred's Wiktor Sjöström. But to his dismay, Wiktor Sjöström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Nils-Emil Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Bammerman in the 96th minute of play forced Linghed's goalkeeper Elof Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Mariefred players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
