The audience thought a goal was coming when Boguslaw Dresik got free with Herbert Bern in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Claes Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claes Pihlblad in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Nordlander saved Bergkvara IFK from getting behind. A collision led to Bergkvara IFK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valentin Tănase hit a great ball. Claes Pihlblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vedum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
