Martin Nordlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Viberg having to interfere. Robin Blixt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Ingvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leif Skräddare fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Östra Frölunda's protests and gave Leif Skräddare a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Narciso Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Viberg was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Östra Frölunda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sune Ahlgren in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Sune Ahlgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alf Viberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Isac Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Östra Frölunda got a freekick which was hit by Martin Nordlund. Boris Sjöman's late challenge caught a Östra Frölunda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Sjöman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tranemo's Boris Sjöman got a free kick in the 37th minute. Narciso Romero in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alf Viberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Narciso Romero in the 45th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alf Viberg kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Narciso Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Viberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Östra Frölunda's Narciso Romero in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tranemo's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Östra Frölunda getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Digo Salgado hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Vincent Björnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Martin Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Viberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Aanicăi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Viberg having to interfere. Robin Blixt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Isac Ekegren made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Romero in the 73rd minute of play forced Tranemo's goalkeeper Alf Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Tranemo's Isac Ekegren threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magnus Ekblom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 78 played minutes Östra Frölunda got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Romero. 85 minutes into the game, Andrei Aanicăi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alf Viberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute Narciso Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Viberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Nordlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östra Frölunda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tranemo for a fine match.
